The roulette is a relatively simple game that allows the player to win a significant sum. The ball rotates around a circle, which is divided into 37 or 38 numbered sectors, and stops randomly in one of them. The 37 number variant is called European roulette and has number 0 through 36, the 38 number is American and has numbers 00, 0, 1 …36. Moreover, the differences between American and European variants are not limited with the amount of sectors on the wheel (see below). The task of the player is to guess the sector that the ball will stop at in the next spin, and place his bet accordingly. (If you are already familiar with the rules you can skip the next chapter and read the instructions to the virtual play mode only).

- European Roulette. If the zero dropped out (0) the player gets back the half of his even money bets (i.e. the bets with 1 to 1 payout: Red/Black, Even/Odd, Low/High).
- American Roulette. If zero or double zero appear, the even money bets lose.
Announces or Call bets
In European Roulette the player can make the “call” bets - the bets combinations to the adjacent (on the wheel) numbers. A special field named “racetrack” or “horseshoe” is lined for them on the playing table. In contrast to the main field, all the numbers on the racetrack are settled in the order as the wheel has.
- Neighbors. A bet on a number and on his 4 neighbors (2 from both sides). For example: when the player bet on 7 on the racetrack, he makes 5 strakes at once for 20cents on the 7 and its adjacent numbers - 28, 12, 29 and 18. When one of these numbers drops out, he gets back a fifth part of the total bet on the neighbors and the winning, according to it (35 to 1), the rest parts of the bet lose.
- 0-Spiel (Germ.) A bet on 7 numbers: 0 and its adjacent numbers (12, 35, 3, 26, 32, 15). The player wins if any of these numbers drops out. When winning the player gets back a quarter of his total bet on 0-Spiel, remainder of the bet loses. Winnings are made according to the following payouts, with regarding to the total bet on 0-Spiel:
- when 26 drops out - 35/4 of total bet gets back;
- when 12, 35, 3, 0, 32 or 15 - 17/4 total bet gets back.
- Voisins du zero / Voisin (the other name - series 0/2/3). Just as in 0-Spiel it includes zero and the adjacent numbers which in this case are wider. The bet is divided into 17 numbers: 22, 18, 29, 7, 28, 12, 35, 3, 26, 0, 32, 15, 19, 4, 21, 2, and 25. The player gets back the winning bets and has the win according to the following payouts, with regarding to the total bet on Voisin:
- if any of 0, 2 or 3 drops out, the player gets 2/9 of his bet back and has the win in 22/9 of the bet; the rest is lost.
- if any of 7, 12, 15, 18, 21, 19, 22, 32 or 35 drops out, the player gets 1/9 of his bet back and has the win in 17/9 of the bet; the rest is lost.
- if any of 25, 26, 28 or 29 drops out, the player gets 2/9 of his bet back and has the win in 16/9 of the bet; the rest is lost.
